John Innes No 2 compost is the consummate John Innes potting compost for young plants, seedlings, and rooted cuttings. The nutrient-rich formulation is specifically tailored to support young outdoor and houseplant growth and healthy establishment, and it’s ready right out of the bag. 

This John Innes No 2 blend contains a 6-week feed, containing a balanced combination of nitrogen, potassium, phosphorous and other essential minerals and trace elements. This all helps roots and shoots grow, develop and establish when transplanting plants into the garden and new pots. John Innes Number 2 is an ideal potting soil for both indoor plants, and outdoor varieties.

Suitable for a wide range of plants including vegetables, outdoor flowers, shrubs, and houseplants, John Innes No 2’s pH level sits at a comfortable 5.5-6.5, making it an ideal potting compost for most young plants.
