About Leca Clay Pebbles for Plants:

A complete soil substitute, amendment, or top layer: These high-quality leca clay balls for plants are the perfect partner for varieties that require high oxygen access at the roots, or prefer slightly drier conditions.

Leca balls are amazing at this for several reasons: They are pH neutral (meaning they can be safely used with almost all plants), feature a micro-porous structure that slowly wicks water and liquid nutrients upwards, releasing to roots gradually, and create air pockets that prevent root suffocation while offering room for root expansion. 

Super versatile, these clay balls for plants make an ideal soil amendment for growing cacti and succulents, monstera, orchids, spider plants, and other moisture-sensitive varieties. They also perform exceptionally in soil-less hydroponic growing; creating an optimal balance between aeration, moisture control, and giving roots room to develop.
