Pre-mixed and ready to use, Hardys John Innes No 3 blend includes rich organic matter, essential nutrients and minerals. All this is contained in a free-draining, loam-based mix that includes perlite, clay and sand to offer unparalleled moisture retention, drainage, and aeration. 

This John Innes No 3 blend includes a high nutrient content, rich in nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorous, and is designed to best support mature, established plants when potting on. John Innes No 3 is suitable for both outdoor and houseplants, with a slightly acidic pH level of 5.5-6.5, that offers ideal conditions to a wide range of species.

The slow-release nutrients in this John Innes number 3 compost helps support long-term growth in mature plants, trees, shrubs and containers, and is an ideal medium to consider when transplanting. John Innes number 3 also helps to anchor larger plants, like shrubs and potted trees, to help prevent them blowing over.
